Lead development of the category growth strategy: Identify business development opportunities, proposing potential targets. Build a strategy and action plan to effectively execute business development (short term as well as long term). Partner with sales and technical teams to analyze business performance, identify issues and define specific needs. Define the innovation agenda & fill identified gaps. Category Expertise: Develop in depth understanding and knowledge of the market, industry dynamics, competitive positioning and consumer understanding to effectively manage the innovation projects and identify the new opportunities and capture the opportunities by leveraging company resources (local/regional/global, cross functional resources). Build good collaboration with regional team and support on China relevant projects. Direct and execute marketing efforts to target customers: Develop marketing innovation plans and implementation in targeted quality and timely. Ensure that strategy is “translated” into marketable actions and that targets set are achieved. Understand customers’ brand and formulate brand relevant concepts and translate consumer & sensory insights into customers’ business for sustainable growth. Focus is required to provide agile support on customer’s reactive projects.
