This Field Application Engineer role at Merck's Metrology & Inspection business unit involves executing Final Acceptance Tests for semiconductor metrology tools, training customers, and identifying new applications. Executing FAT plans (measurements, data analysis and result dissemination) while respecting key deadlines to guarantee that each new tool complies with well-defined performance specifications. - Train the customer and employees. - Closely collaborating with the application team and customers to identify new use cases - Testing new solutions and related software / hardware release. - Helping to improve the documentation - Working with the Field Service Engineer team and engineering team on continuous improvement programs to enhance the product quality. - Documenting any non-conformity detected at customer site
