This internship position at Qualcomm focuses on Wi-Fi communication PHY algorithm design and optimization. You will work on next-generation wireless systems, including MU-MIMO, Beamforming, and OFDMA, collaborating with PHY/MAC and HW teams. It is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in wireless communications and signal processing.

最低要求

BS in Wireless Communication Systems or related field

Proficient in network performance modeling, simulation, and lab debugging
Good analytical and communication skills
Self-motivated, goal oriented, and quick to learn

工作职责

PHY Layer and system design for next generation wireless connectivity system and features development with focus on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Actively learning new wireless technologies, including MU-MIMO, Beamforming, OFDMA, Distributed RU, etc
Work with PHY/MAC and HW RD teams in system architecture, module & algorithm design, as well as generation of patents
Co-existence system design for multiple wireless systems, such as WiFi, BT, Threads, GNSS, and mobile phone SoC

优先资格

Most importantly: interested in signal processing development and algorithm optimization

Insights to signal processing issues from communication theory perspective
Dealing with system issues from communication system perspective
Familiarity with wireless standards such as 5G NR/4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, Thread
Familiarity with the impact of radio interference on wireless communications systems and mitigation schemes
Solid background in SW/MAC/PHY architecture and coexistence algorithms and protocols
Knowledge about RF, PHY and MAC implementation
