Support the Head Legal, GBS to implement the vision, strategy and direction of the GBS Legal Team.
Develop the legal service delivery model and a best-in-class legal operational approach. Develop thought leadership capability. Promote a culture and practice of good conduct. Provide legal advice, guidance and support to business units and stakeholders across GBS. Maintain close relationships with stakeholders including GBS Management Teams. Provide support on regulatory remediation and operational transformation initiatives. Support the Head Legal during escalation of material legal issues. Manage or support disputes involving GBS. Manage or support cross border investigations. Ensure close coordination with other Legal teams. Drive best practice and lessons learned. Adhere to Group Contracts Policy and Third-Party Risk Management Framework. Adhere to Department Operating Instructions for third party contracts. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Follow frameworks to identify, assess, manage, monitor, mitigate and report legal matters. Keep up to date with Group policies and standards. Manage external counsel appointments.
