On-site senior technical role at a global energy leader, offering solid compensation and training but limited flexibility and explicit career progression.
Baker Hughes offers competitive compensation for a senior role in a stable industry, though exact salary is not disclosed in the JD. Benefits include private medical care, life insurance, and financial programs.
The role provides opportunities to train apprentices and develop technical expertise, but no explicit career progression paths are mentioned. The technology used is mainstream for the electrical testing field.
The role is on-site in Leicester with some flexible working options mentioned, but the JD emphasizes collaboration and co-location. Overtime is not explicitly addressed.
Working in the energy sector, especially on safe and efficient energy solutions, provides a sense of purpose. However, the role is more technical and operational rather than directly contributing to decarbonization.
