As a PIT member, lead the process control work for new products, processes, materials, and equipment, including process control system setup, production preparation, trial runs, testing, validation, P-FMEA, and acceptance, to ensure on-time launch.
Collaborate with Production and IE to define standard work parameters, including standard routing, takt time, OEE, UPHH, and shrinkage, to support standard cost calculation. Establish and maintain the process control system per IATF 16949 and CP; write and manage work instructions, inspection instructions, and safety procedures to ensure on-site standardization and compliance. Provide qualification and upskilling training for operators, including work instructions, process control, quality, and problem-solving methods. Manage changes of production elements (Design, ***, Machine, Material, Method, Environment, Measurement) to keep process under control; collaborate with internal team on problem prevention (PFMEA/maintenance) and quick response (QRQC/PSS) to meet S/Q/C/D/P KPIs. Implement OE activities and PDCA to continuously optimize process flow, fixtures, new materials/technology, energy saving, efficiency, and EHS elements, improving productivity (VAM/MCP); complete other tasks assigned by manager.
