Responsible for managing and developing Xiaomi's motor insurance business across selected European markets. This role involves end-to-end project management from market research and partner selection to product design, system launch, and operational rollout. Insurance Business Management
After onboarding, progressively take full responsibility for the insurance business in selected European and potentially other overseas markets, acting as the main coordinator for these markets.
In line with the company’s international business strategy and local market characteristics, support the design of insurance business solutions, project plans, and implementation roadmaps for your markets.
Oversee the full lifecycle of local motor and related insurance projects, from market research, partner selection, RFPs, and product design to system launch and operational rollout.
Continuously monitor local insurance markets, regulatory developments, competitors, and evolving customer needs, identify business opportunities and potential risks, and provide corresponding recommendations.
Partner Management
Coordinate with insurers, insurance brokers, MGAs, and other insurance service providers to drive pricing, underwriting solutions, contracts, system integration, and operational workflows.
Contribute to the selection, RFPs, and commercial negotiations with insurance partners, and continuously monitor their service quality, project progress, and business performance.
Build and maintain long-term business relationships with local insurance partners and proactively resolve issues arising during project implementation and day-to-day operations.
Project Execution and Cross-functional Coordination
Take overall project management responsibility for insurance projects in your markets, including goal setting, work breakdown, project planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, and issue resolution.
Coordinate various internal functions and local market teams to ensure projects go live and operate as planned.
Act as the central point of contact for the insurance business in your markets, ensuring that information, responsibilities, and timelines between internal teams and external partners are clearly aligned.
Identify and escalate major project risks, resource requirements, and key decisions in a timely manner and drive them to resolution.
Business Operations and Continuous Optimization
Track key operating metrics of the insurance business in your markets.
Support business and insurance data analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement of the insurance business.
Regularly prepare management reports.
