This role is for an experienced Analog Field Applications Engineer focusing on Vcore power solutions for AI servers and high-performance computing platforms. You will work directly with leading customers (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA) to debug, design, and optimize power systems, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. It's a customer-facing technical role that combines deep power electronics knowledge with system-level problem-solving.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; In-depth knowledge of Vcore power delivery architectures; Experience with Intel VR13/VR14, AMD SP5/SP6/SP7, or NVIDIA GPU platforms; Hands-on experience with VRTS, SDLE, or similar tools; Ability to conduct system-level simulations and stability analysis; Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Support and debug Vcore power delivery systems for Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA platforms; Perform Vcore fine-tuning using VRTS and SDLE; Conduct system-level simulation, loop stability analysis, transient response tuning, and schematic/layout reviews; Create detailed Issue Analysis Reports; Collaborate with customer RD and validation teams; Partner with Sales and Product Line teams to grow TI's analog and power business; Provide feedback to internal design teams.
Master's degree preferred; Experience in server or datacenter power design; Familiarity with TI analog products; Experience with schematic/layout reviews; Knowledge of thermal and reliability specifications.
