This role is for a Vice President-level Institutional Rates Salesperson based in Hong Kong, focusing on public sector and real money clients. You will be responsible for originating and maintaining client relationships, distributing interest rate products, and driving revenue growth in the APAC region.

最低要求

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience at a financial services organization, preferably in Institutional Rates Sales or a related fixed income role. Essential experience in a client-facing role working with institutional clients, with a focus on public sector and asset management clients.
Market Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of interest rate markets, macroeconomic drivers, and derivative products (swaps, options, futures).
Client Network: Existing relationships with public sector and asset management clients.
Skills: Sales Acumen: Proven track record of strong sales performance, client acquisition, and relationship management. People management experience is a plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely. Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret market data and develop trade ideas. Advanced problem-solving skills.
Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is desirable for client coverage in the region.

工作职责

Client Relationship Management & Business Development:

Identify and target new client opportunities, on-boarding and prospecting key clients to expand the APAC rates and financing franchise
Actively distribute the full suite of interest rates products, including interest rate swaps, government bonds, cross-currency swaps, repos, MTNs, and other related derivatives.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing revenue gaps and capitalizing on new opportunities.
Partner with various product teams to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities.
Market Analysis and Product Knowledge:
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of global and regional macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, and their impact on interest rate markets. Provide clients with insightful market commentary, trade ideas, and risk analysis.
Execution & Team Collaboration:
Facilitate efficient and accurate execution of client trades, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with regional and global sales teams, traders, strategists, and other product specialists to deliver a seamless client experience.
Share market intelligence and client feedback to enhance overall team performance and product offering.
Corporate Governance & Risk Management:
Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure. Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services.
