This role is for an Assistant Manager at a two-star Michelin Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure high-quality guest service, and lead a team of staff. The position involves managing shifts, training employees, maintaining inventory, and upholding luxury brand standards.

Ensure staff work as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire, rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO, cleanliness. Complete inventories, stock and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, guest well-being. Complete work orders for repairs. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as role model and first point of contact for fair treatment/open door policy. Follow all company and safety policies. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions. Complete safety training. Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality. Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities. Communicate clearly, develop positive relationships. Ensure quality standards, identify ways to increase efficiency and cost-savings. Read and verify information in various formats. Visually inspect tools/equipment. Stand, sit, walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds. Grasp, turn, manipulate objects. Move through narrow spaces and stairs. Reach overhead and bend. Perform other duties as requested.
