This role is responsible for developing and executing the non-food category strategy for Meituan's international expansion in Riyadh. You will analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, set pricing and margins, and drive category growth through data-driven decisions.

Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience as a buyer/Category Manager in the grocery field non-food

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent.

Analyze data to determine industry and consumer trends.

Identify and establish long-term partnerships with direct distributors and salers.
Stay on the lookout for new suppliers based on strategy.
Assist in setting the yearly budget/sale target and profit per category.
Administer the price setting and respect the margin per category.
Monitor and enhance category/product performance.
Establish long-term development strategies for product categories.
Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
Create trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility. Monitor price and competition.
Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories. Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category.
