Possess at least 10 years of experience in an EHS role or equivalent. Have relevant leadership experience in a health and safety manufacturing environment, with direct process safety and/or machine safety experience being a distinct advantage. Demonstrate a strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulatory requirements and technical codes of practice. Have a proven track record of successful interactions with regulatory agencies. Exhibit strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Possess the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Show a demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Act as a role model in coaching and mentoring to enhance both team and individual performance. Expertly identify issues and foster problem-solving capabilities within the organization. Promote autonomous teams, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and local decision-making. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, leveraging data for proactive risk management. Use data analytics to identify and mitigate potential hazards, fostering a comprehensive safety culture. Swiftly address unforeseen safety, health, or environmental incidents with real-time monitoring and response strategies. Maintain a strong knowledge of local and global sustainability and environmental compliance requirements. Encourage the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices for continuous improvement in EHS. Define and communicate a visionary safety strategy that aligns with organizational goals. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the EHS program and ensure compliance with regulations.
