Contribute to service business development of in RST team, including recovery boiler, biomass boiler and marine scrubber.
Visit and interact with customers for opportunity identification, especially for recovery boiler and marine scrubber services. Prepare technical solution to specific tasks. Conduct audits at customer sites and analyze process improvement opportunities. Learn new technical service skills and keep improving on next repeated services. Apply for Valmet FSC when there is a chance. Quickly respond to customer inquiry. Work out feasible solutions with the support of colleagues in other teams and third-party partners. Provide assistance for the installation and commissioning during project when required. Carry out service calls based on Valmet standards and customer requests. Serve as project coordinator at site to offer preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems. Keep records of work progress, delays, problems, deliveries, modifications, engineering and fabrication errors. Report on the completed projects outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service and any future recommendations for improving the service offering. Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred in a proper way. Be responsible for project profit, starting from quotation, purchasing and through the whole process of site service. Cooperate with colleagues in CAP, P&E, PER for information share and resources share. Be able to adapt to changing needs of services Be able to work under pressure and solve problems almost independently at site after check with managers or seniors. Frequent travelling is required.
