Developing and coordinating design concepts for battery cell and its components, including all necessary requirements. Deriving requirements for cell (sub)components and designing (sub)components in accordance with cell specifications. Verifying technical and manufacturing feasibility with consultants and suppliers, ensuring compliance. Aligning designs with stakeholders including customers, production, procurement, and quality. Creating 3D models, drawings, and related technical documentation. Developing and assessing mechanical simulations, properties, and tolerance chains. Compiling parts lists for prototype and series production cells. Preparing approvable CAD data and drawings for project milestones. Assuming component and releasing responsibility in accordance with development guidelines and milestones. Conducting literature and patent research; attend conferences and supervise student theses.
Ph.D is a plus.
