Ensure the achievement of the entire RD project goals, as documentation, HW & SW availability, documentation maturity, parts maturity, timeline. Coordinate all RD- and OV-related activities for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars on New Projects incl. MOPF and Model Years. Lead as Project Lead Development (PLE) all required development activities according MDS incl. the lead vehicle of a new platform. Safeguard relevant project milestones in terms of maturity, costs and time. Steer and lead the communication and coordination of tasks between the responsible commodity group leaders, module group speakers, digital integration, vehicle functions, and cross-function groups, according to the standard project organization (SPO). Communicate with Project Management (SPL) and other project sub-leaders (e.g. PP, MP, Cost Planning, BBAC RD/QM/LOG/Production, BMBS, etc.), in China, Germany and India.
Master's degree is preferred; German language skills very beneficial.
