18+ years of experience in connector, cable, and socket technologies, including high-volume manufacturing. Proven ability to lead connector-cable and socket development projects independently. Expertise in mechanical tolerance analysis using RSS/Monte Carlo methods. Strong knowledge of connector reliability standards and qualification processes. Hands-on experience with connector/cable/socket testing and failure analysis of separable interfaces and solder joints. Familiarity with contact metallurgy, metal finishes, and root cause analysis for connector and cable failures. Understanding of signal integrity and systems engineering principles related to connectors and sockets and knowledge of VNA measurements Experience working with suppliers and managing development programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create technical documents and presentations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabVIEW, MATLAB, JMP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; structural FEA expertise is a plus.
