This role leads business transformation initiatives within Hang Seng Bank's Retail Banking & Wealth division, driving strategy execution, PMO governance, and cross-functional program delivery. It suits experienced banking professionals with strong project management and analytical skills.
University graduate in Business Administration or related discipline. Seasoned financial services professional with at least 8 years' experience in banking, preferably with PMO, business management, strategy development, process transformation / consultancy experience. Proven record of effective project and program management, including project planning and decision making, identifying priorities, enforcing program governance, managing resources, management reporting and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion. Strong problem-solving skills with conceptual and analytical capabilities to deal with ambiguities. Acute sense of business direction and thorough knowledge of RBW business. Keep abreast of market developments and business trends. Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, planning and organizing skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset. Ability to work under stress and short turnaround time.
Perform Programme Management Office (PMO) function to govern end-to-end RBW strategy & transformation programmes/initiatives delivery, from investment case development to funding allocation, delivery risks and controls monitoring, and portfolio delivery governance. Host Programme Steering Committee Meeting and prepare meeting materials. Track and analyze cost utilization and benefits realization. Provide clear and concise updates to senior management on complex topics, followed by solid recommendations. Assist RBW to drive the development of business and transformation strategies in achieving the Group’s and Bank’s business goals. Provide internal consultancy to identify opportunities in transformation and process streamlining to support business growth, enhance customer experience, improve work efficiency and effectiveness. Orchestrate onshore and offshore parties to deliver as a single team.
Agile knowledge and adoption experience. Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB).
