This role involves leading actuarial modelling activities, focusing on developing and maintaining models for financial reporting and solvency. 最低要求
Strong knowledge of life insurance industry and products, through exam progress and meaningful work experience. Sound knowledge of modelling for solvency (e.g., Solvency II or HK-RBC) and financial performance (IFRS4 and IFRS17). Knowledge and experience of with-profits and participating product designs are essential. Knowledge of regulatory environment and economic conditions in Hong Kong and the region would be beneficial.
工作职责
Conduct day-to-day development and maintenance activities for actuarial and financial reporting models.
Provide central support on actuarial analytic related issues.
Ensure modelling and financial reporting work is compliant with relevant policy and regulations.
Provide support to local actuarial teams, including implementation of new methodology and assumptions.
Conduct model development and testing in accordance with Group standards.
Provide support on actuarial metrics (e.g. Reserves/PVIF/CSM) under various reporting bases (Statutory and IFRS).
Work closely with local actuarial teams to understand business requirements.
Support ongoing prioritization of business requests to update model development schedule.
Deliver solutions as per agreed development schedule.
Provide timely responses to customer modelling queries.
Ensure appropriate governance and controls around model development and maintenance.
Uphold HSBC internal controls and standards through compliance with Model Risk Policy, IFIM, and other FIMs.
