工作职责

Act as internal and external contact person within their own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups.

Create internal publications (e.g. requirements manuals, etc.) and present as required (internally).
Recognize general need for continuing optimization in their own field within the company.
Support in definition and optimizing internal standards and processes within their own area of expertise (e.g. develop new functional guidelines, etc.).
Observe/identify trends in their own area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for action (e.g. testing/using new technologies, etc.).
Conduct mainly conceptual activities within their area of expertise.
Coordinate and present activities and suggestions to achieve development goals.
Evaluate design plans, technical documents and drawings.
Draw up/have drawn up, evaluate and coordinate design solutions (internal/external).
Define, coordinate and if necessary modify the technical requirements for modules and systems (e.g. with regard to function, installation, costs, weight, etc.).
Check and evaluate development progress; introduce corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate tests and monitor the interpretation of test results; and coordinate/check for design implementation.
Technical and scheduled steering of assigned internal and external designers in the project in close consultation with the relevant departments (e.g. of a designer team, etc.).
Controlling the development scope in the customer systems/applications (setting/providing/releasing data) as a basis for the product development.
Develop solutions by definition of type, method and timing of the measures and coordination with BMW project managers and related departments, as well as external companies.
Control drawings and data sets; ensure creation of relevant development documentation.
Ensure compliance with defined development goals; if necessary, implement corrective activities.
Ensuring the alignment of wiring harness drawings, circuit diagrams, and wiring harness modules after the creation or implementation of changes and their release from development phase till series phase.
Transfer of the development documents to the involved work preparation department at DEE for integration of the changes in the bill of materials.
Ensuring compliance with the release timelines and/or the creation of change documentation for documents that have already been released.
Ensuring the creation and modification of the release logic for the individual cable harness modules as a specification for the release run in point at the customer site in the project.
