This role leads the Neurology medical team in Japan, driving medical strategy and execution for the therapeutic area. You will oversee cross-functional projects, manage MSL managers, and ensure alignment with global medical plans, requiring strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

MD in Neurology area or Internal medicine and/or advanced degree in life sciences preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience
Able to operate independently (with minimal supervision) and navigate complex regulatory environments
Possible substantial travel: nationally and internationally
工作职责
Develop Neurology therapeutic area plans:
Oversee the development of medical strategies and timelines for key product-specific cross-functional projects (e.g. Product Ad Boards, LCM activities related to Phase IV, and Investigator initiated studies)
Provide input during the development of global product plans regarding publications, training initiatives, KOL planning and metrics
Collaborate with regional medical contacts to align on the global plan
Work with the team to identify risks and develop mitigation steps
Communicate appropriate and timely program information to key functions
Execute Neurology Medical Therapeutic Area Plans:
Lead strategic financial trajectory, Annual Operating Planning activities and forecast resources
Lead Local Neurology medical team and related meetings
Partner with global medical functional leads
Drive and implement best practices through creation of processes, tools and templates
Plan and track key milestones and report progress
Facilitate prioritization of activities
Provide input into infrastructure improvement initiatives
Serve as contact for worldwide affiliate regarding meeting content development
Supervise and coach MSL managers towards identification, mapping and quarterly review of KOLs
Monitor and supervise MSL Managers' execution of plans
Manage and meet reporting requirements of MSL performance including supervising metrics towards KPIs
