Material Control Clerk

This role is a Material Control Clerk at EMD Electronics (Merck) in Chandler, AZ. You will handle warehouse operations including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping materials. The position requires physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Handle multiple processes within the distribution area including receipts, put away, picking, packing, sorting, and other tasks associated with fulfilling customer orders. Performs assigned duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Manages personal training requirements and expectations. Completes tasks promptly to meet production schedules and compliance standards. Maintains professional relationships with department personnel and other departments. Assists in alternate work areas as needed. Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly. Initiates and maintains accurate computer transactions. Picks, packs, and inspects materials for accuracy and compliance with requirements.

Forklift or dangerous goods shipping certification; Knowledge of Microsoft Office and some Warehousing Computer Systems; Strong written and oral communication skills; Knowledge of Warehouse shipping procedures and inventory cycle count experience; Experience with equipment and tools utilized in shipping, receiving and warehousing operations including but not limited to forklift, stacker, pallet jacks, hand truck, postage meter machines
