• This role offers a path from a hands-on technical expert to a departmental leader within the PM (Progressive Maintenance) pillar. You can grow into roles with broader site or regional technology ownership, reliability engineering, or project management for new automation initiatives. The exposure to global technology forums and continuous improvement culture provides a strong foundation for senior manufacturing or engineering management positions.
• You will be the technical owner for automated production lines, responsible for their preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, and managing spare parts and budgets. You will lead a team of technicians, developing their skills and ensuring daily production targets (SQCDSM) are met through effective maintenance systems. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen, participate in technology forums, and support new project implementations (VSU).
• You need deep technical expertise in industrial automation systems, specifically PLC, SCADA, DCS, Servo drives, and field instrumentation, including calibration. Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, especially Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) steps, is essential. Leadership and coaching skills are required to manage and develop a technical team, along with experience in budgeting, root cause analysis (RCA), and change management.
