Must-haves: 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in engineering leadership managing 10+ person organizations
Proven track record building and scaling large-scale distributed systems (high-throughput, high-availability, globally distributed)
Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production—you understand the engineering challenges of LLM inference, model serving, feature platforms, or similar
Genuine fluency operating across US and China engineering cultures; bilingual (English + Mandarin) strongly preferred
Experience with US data privacy regulations and cross-border data compliance (CCPA, GDPR, data localization)
