Develop commercial proposals and quotations in a low to medium complexity sales environment ensuring the deals deliver shareholder value while driving competitive pricing and the right value proposition to the client. Lead (influential not formally) all the functions supporting the commercial process and deliverables like technical proposals, schedules, sourcing, execution plan, quality plant, financials and required investments. Be accountable and develop (or support the development of) the cost model associated to the contract scope. Revise and negotiate with customers (with leadership support and guidance) scope, price, contract Terms & Conditions, technical (with Engineering and Product teams support), financial and other relevant aspects to close the commercial process. Prepare (with leadership support and guidance) the deal business case for functional and leadership approval prior submission. Support operational, finance, commercial and contractual risk assessment and obtain internal approvals in case of deviations to company standards and guidelines. Secure process compliance and support internal audits. Cooperate with sales to deliver annual sales plan and long-range plan. Support price benchmark and the bid strategy (with leadership support and guidance) for the deals. Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice. Compile and submit required tender documentation in a timely manner. Lead the process (with leadership support and guidance) from Request for Proposal or Quotation (RFP or RFQ) to handover to execution team. Lead or support the implementation of variation orders/amendment into backlog contracts.
