Lead engineering design and development of PTU systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical requirements and coordinate with PM in cost control with factories and 3rd party vendors.
Provide engineering support and assistance to PM during project execution, including design reviews, problem resolution, technical evaluations, and coordination with stakeholders on related technical aspects. Process sound knowledge of PTU engineering design requirements, perform equipment and system sizing, selection, and technical assessments in accordance with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices. Develop PTU system drawings, Sequence of Operation (SOO) / Design Description of Operation (DOO), and associated commissioning/test scripts for Commissioning (Cx) activities, while coordinating with factories, 3rd party vendors, contractor and customer to ensure successful commissioning and contractual compliance. Manage multiple project engineering works according to business requirements. Develop and update engineering design documentation including but not limited to PTU general arrangement, System SLD, calculation, sizing, simulation, test scripts etc. Support PM and/or attend project technical review discussions (via Teams or F2F if required) with customer per project requirements. Work with PM on cost control via effective engineering optimization without compromising quality. Support PM in change request to develop engineering feasible and cost effective solution. Manage technical document administration works (maintaining up-to-date vendor documentation, tracking, on time submission etc). Review sub-vendor design/technical deliverables, quality of work, answering technical questions and assist PM to evaluate/comment/approve sub-vendor works. Assist, coordinate and support Project Manager/Service team in deployment planning, FAT and SAT. Be committed & responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) / Environment Health & Safety (EHS): implement process approach and risk-based thinking, provide necessary support, communicate importance, ensure goals, engage and direct individuals, create culture of continuous improvement.
