As an Expert in Fragrance Analytics at Henkel, you will independently develop and optimize GC-MS methods for analyzing perfume oils and raw materials. You will interpret complex analytical data, ensure data quality, and play a key role in supporting product development. This role requires deep expertise in instrumental analysis and a passion for the fragrance industry.

最低要求

Completed training as a chemical technician or a bachelor's/master's degree in chemistry or a comparable qualification.

Several years of experience in instrumental analysis, ideally at least 5 years, especially in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, or sound practical experience in the fragrance or flavor environment.
Good to very good understanding of the analysis and composition of natural raw materials and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
Confident handling of standard digital applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of various chromatography software systems is an advantage.
Strong communication skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to analytical questions.
Fluent German in word and writing as well as good English skills.

Independent planning, execution and optimization of demanding GC-MS analyses of extracts, perfume oils and raw materials – including sample preparation, method development and ensuring data quality.

Evaluation and interpretation of complex analytical data as well as derivation of well-founded conclusions, recommendations for action and formulation proposals.
Ensuring precise, quality-compliant documentation of analysis results and preparation of technical reports.
Performing maintenance, calibration and optimization work on analytical instruments to ensure their performance.
Evaluation, introduction and implementation of new analytical methods and digital tools for the continuous improvement of processes and data quality.
Use of additional analytical methods, organizational support of the team and participation in the supervision of trainees.

Ideally at least 5 years of experience in instrumental analysis.

Knowledge of various chromatography software systems.
