Be the business subject matter expert for all regulatory affairs and product regulatory compliance for Food (Pre-packaged, fresh, RTE and Counters) in DFI North Asia markets.
Horizon scanning to anticipate upcoming regulatory shifts that may impact our business
Support the Group and Local Banner functions in North Asia with regulatory guidance and review to consistently deliver quality, safety and legality to meet specification, labelling requirement and customers’ expectations
Manage the Hong Kong Label Compliance team
Liaise and coordinate with DFI Regulatory team in North and South East Asia to ensure consistent practices across the business.
Capable of leading projects / strategically approaching regulatory shifts with business models and solution driven mindset.
Ensure Label Compliance team approve products based on local regulations - Develop and implement the appropriate control mechanisms to manage labelling requirements for all local importations / indent / surrogate brands.
Maintain local relationship with government to keep active track of potential changes in product regulations, liaise with government contacts for day to day interpretation of various regulations and guidelines
Monitor the regulation trend on the markets and updating the internal stakeholder, and conduct risk assessments/analyses and anticipates possible business impacts.
Proactively provide coaching and compliance training to internal stakeholders.
Review all the product claim related marketing material to ensure full regulatory compliance for relevant North Asian markets.
