As a Senior/Staff Accountant in EY's Risk & Regulatory Assurance team, you will conduct independent reviews and assurance engagements for financial institutions in Hong Kong, focusing on HKMA and SFC regulations. Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting/Finance/Risk Management/Business Management or related majors; At least 2 years' relevant experience in audit/risk advisory for financial services; Knowledge and experience in Banking and Capital Markets or Wealth and Asset Management; Detailed understanding of HKMA or SFC requirements; Experienced in controls and assurance related regulatory projects; Strong report writing and communication/presentation skills; No record of administrative penalties from regulators.

工作职责

Taking ownership on work streams on engagements; Working as part of a larger team and day-to-day communication with clients; Taking responsibility for the conduct of reviews and preparation of reports according to EY methodology, making oral presentations of findings/recommendations to client’s management team(s); Identifying the impact of forthcoming regulatory change, and support clients on the potential impact; Identifying and testing key systems and controls for demonstrating compliance with applicable SFC/HKMA regulations; Assessing and advising clients in building a holistic governance and risk management framework in response to remediation of findings and/or evolving regulatory requirements; Contributing to business development including bidding proposals and go-to-market materials.
